Chancellor Merz will visit the White House and show Trump diagrams to prove that Germany has reduced illegal immigration, I doubt this will persuade DJT.
Merz will not be raising concerns about the USA/Israel action in Iran.

The Palace of the Republic served as a symbol GDR power from 1976-90. It was replaced by the Humboldt Forum, a cultural center and museum in east Berlin. The building is a partial replica of the Prussian Palace ,which was hated by East German leaders. Humboldt has hosted temporary exhibitions and projects dedicated to the Palace of the Republic.
The Prussian Palace(1443-1950) housed the royals of Prussia up until 1918 when it became a museum.
