Three civil rights groups; The Urban League of Greater Kansas City, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Kansas City and the Kansas City, Missouri, chapter of the NAACP in the Kansas City area, have cautioned the NBA about relocating the Raptors temporarily to KC because they feel  the city has failed to demonstrate that Black Lives Matter. Zoe Rosenburg, 19, had a chain and attached herself to the back of the basket near to the Timberwolves' bench at Memphis Fed Ex arena prior to the start of the MEM/MINN game. Security personnel removed the chain from around her neck, and she's was later arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing. There have been animal rights' protests at TWolves'  games this season because one of their co-owners also owns factory farms.

Tony Siragusa, former Raven's DT died at 55.

 Jaylon Ferguson, the 26 year old Ravens LB, was found dead in his residence and investigators are not ruling out the possibility of an overdose. Ferguson played college ball at La Tech(CUSA).

Arizona State returns to hiring ex NFL assistants with the addition of Hines Ward as wide receivers coach.

He coached the XFL’s San Antonio Brahmas in 2023. His resume:  worked with the receivers at FAU in 2021 and serving as an offensive assistant with the NYJ(NFL) in 2019 and ’20.
